Music Lovers Won’t Want to Miss the Capital Jazz Fest From June 7 – 9

There’s just something about listening to live music outdoors in the summertime, which is exactly why you won’t want to miss out on this year’s  Capital Jazz Fest, running from June 7 through June 9. This annual celebration of all things jazz takes place at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, and it features international and regional jazz performers across two stages. 

The  Capital Jazz Fest is considered the world’s largest showcase of contemporary jazz, so it’s sure to be an educational and inspiring experience for anyone who is interested in jazz music. This year’s performers include big name acts like Gladys Knight, Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds and India.Arie, among many others. In addition to the incredible performances, there will also be vendors selling international foods from all over the world and juried crafts so that you can take home a souvenir from the concert.
