Bite Into a Vietnamese Fare Favorite at Anh-Mazing Banh Mi

23 August, 2019 | Apartments

The Common Kitchen, on Clarksville Pike, just debuted an “anh-mazing” Asian eatery last month. To experience the taste of an authentic Vietnamese sandwich, you need only stop into Anh-mazing Banh Mi. It’s founder, a Vietnam native, opened this casual one-of-a-kind spot after seeking a taste of home. Not wanting to open yet another pho restaurant, she decided something a little different yet just as delicious was the answer.

The menu may seem simplistic, but the flavors are complex and the portions are plenty. Served on a freshly toasted sub, topped with a pickled veggie slaw and Vietnamese mayo, each sandwich is accompanied by a savory veggie or chicken broth soup that very nearly steals the show. The thit nuong’s fragrant lemongrass and tender meat is unforgettably delicious and the summer rolls are the perfect start to your meal. If you’re looking for a little sweetness to end your meal, be sure to treat yourself to their Vietnamese coffee.
