Stock Up on Seasonal Produce at the Howard County Farmers’ Market

14 July, 2020 | Apartments

Craving seasonal, locally sourced produce? The Howard County Farmers’ Market pops up right here in Columbia on Robert Oliver Place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. p.m every Sunday through November 8th. Vendors at the market are limited to direct producers, which means the only individuals allowed to sell their products are the ones growing and producing themselves – which means extra fresh options for the county shoppers.

You’ll find everything from fresh fruits and veggies from Kenny’s Produce or Pleitez Produce to vegan baked goods from Vegan Soul. One thing we really love is the stories from some of the vendors. Lewis’ Orchards is a 4th generation family-owned establishment, and while they’ve grown they remember their roots and the family traditions that have helped operate the farm for years. Stone House Cakery & Café comes with freshly baked cakes every week that are made with care from the recipes crafted and taught to the owner by her grandmother.

When you shop Howard County Farmers’ Market, you’re shopping tradition, and that’s so unique and special.
