Sapwood Cellars Brewery – A Beer Lover’s Paradise

In a world of countless mainstream beer brands, nothing compares to the passion of small town home brewers with a dream. That’s where Sapwood Cellars Brewery, based in Columbia Maryland, comes in. 

Founders Scott Janish and Michael Tonsmiere set out to turn their passions for brewing IPAs and aged wood barrel-aged beers into what has become the foundation of Sapwood Cellars’ business. 

Combining delicious aromas and flavors, Sapwood Cellars boasts an array of in-house beers that can suit any beer lover’s fancy. 

For those looking to get to know Sapwood Cellars Brewery more, the brewery’s tasting room is open Wednesdays through Sundays for pours and potential tours inside the brewery’s facility (if you ask a bartender nicely). 

Or, if customers would prefer to take their beer on the go, Sapwood Cellars offers a variety of canned beers or wood bottles that are ready for pick up. Prices range from $10-14 for canned beers and $10-$16 for wood bottles. 

Sapwood Cellars is open Wednesday through Friday from 2 pm to 9 pm, Saturday from 12 pm to 9 pm, and Sunday from 12 pm to 6 pm. Come for the beer, stay for the hops!
