Feb. 15 Near Lakehouse: Valentine’s Day Truffle-Making & Wine-Tasting

Still trying to dream up a unique date idea for your Valentine? The Robinson Nature Center has already done all the hard work for you. It’s hosting a Valentine’s Day Truffle-Making & Wine-Tasting on Saturday, February 15th from 1 to 3 p.m.

Whether you bring along your significant other or a few friends, the hands-on class will make for a fun afternoon. You start by learning how to handcraft your own chocolate truffles—and getting some insight into the cocoa plant itself. Then you can taste-test six different wines from Maryland’s own Linganore Vineyards, all while discovering more about its sustainable approach and varieties of grapes. At the end of class, take home 10 truffles to enjoy later. Tickets are $27, and you’re encouraged to register online or via phone in order to secure your spot.
