A St. Paddy’s classic! Irish soda bread doesn’t require a bread maker, or any special equipment, for that matter. It’s mostly made of ingredients you already have in your kitchen—flour, sugar, butter, baking soda—plus orange zest, dried currants, and buttermilk. You simply combine the dry and wet ingredients, mix in the currants, shape the round loaf, and then bake.
